doing up the XRL abit for a start

Install CRF450X headlite..install a temporary Acerbis PHS handlebar with oversized clamp...bits and pieces of my XR400....acerbis multiplo handguard..
removed the smog cannister..yet to open up carburator to check jetting...maybe during the weekend...install a new set of ignition switch...replace the TV like rear tailite with acerbis small tailite...fit in Customised rack given by owner.
already bought the 25l tank...but seems won't be fitting nicely on the XR600 frame rather than XR400...so,the plan is off...selling the tank to ian...
will be doing up this beb like the XR600 i used to have...the box style acerbis 22l tank...etc.etc...simple and less modification....tired oready...
oredy bought the seatcover...need to buy fork boot...

...its a 1994 registered......manufactured 1992....but engine is in tip top condition...check log card...so far only got 4 transfer including me...the owner of the bike is a 53yr old dude...but he still strong....ouuch..he owned it for 4yrs..but hardly ridden the bike bcoz he also crazy like me....owned many bikes....bikes have not been ridden for months...so lots of work to do on the bike...but i'm happy to project this ol skool hardcore machine...nice no plate....5353....wooohoo...must buy 4D.....owner gave me a whole box of spares...piston,piston rings,7 sets of front sprocket etc....but long way to go....bike looks very stock down...even the TV screen rear tail light with mudflap is on....

Jus Collected my new bike

but not new actually...already 13yr ol bike....i was actually impressed by the KLX250s back then during schooling days...but tat time wasnt so much into bikes...now after 10yrs later,i've finally own 1...yey...got quite a good deal...but i felt bike needs major repair...after seeing some of the interesting stuffs on the bike,and after capturing the 1st glimpse,somehow,i was connected to the bike... 
From the good old days,i've never felt sick of looking at the KLX design...its very sleek...but was too afraid to own 1 due to very bad review from mouth to ear...and besides,Kawa is not a very good agent here...not much parts,and very hard to come by...but by now,my thoughts seems endless...jus grab one and dun wan to thk much...too much looking in the Japanese websites and magazines on this bike...so my theory,if you dun owned 1,you never know till you've owned it...regret later... 
Bike bought from a friend...the ups about the bike...
1.Ohlins rear shock
2.Purple season excel rims
3.Aftermarket japan header
4.FMF powercore muffler
5.Rally 591 rack
and loads of spares given...
but down side.
1.Clutch plates gone
2.Front sprocket O rings and seal gone...Engine leak
3.Gear shifter shaft Gone..
4.No meter or cables or meter rotor
5.no sidemirrors..
6.Compression felt soft...cialat..owner suspect the piston ring gone...
7.Renthal handlbar bengkok
Now things need to do...send shop to do the O rings replacements and clutchplates to be Replace..then,i will strip the bike over the sun to remove unwanted stickers and respray the frame...then from there,we will know wat other damage...  
hope this bike will not let me down
