Angsana Dirtbike Race event

Out of the sudden to join the race after a being persuaded again and again by my long time lost race partner Fairul...i was so lay to change back to dirt setup....its a very leceh process to bring down a pair of dirtwheel,my bikestand,and all the tools from 10th storey down....but smeone got to do the job afterall...well infact tis is the last time i hv to do the process....smehw 2 days after tis race,smeone offered to buy my SM wheelset and there you go...its GONE!!!.. 
Race as usual...followed by registration in the morning...it was a sunday...meet up fairul and gang at shell JB at 830am....i was late...arrived at angsana 15mins later....set down and registered...
was looking over the track....hell yeah...it was muddy alrite....tis is the monsoon season smehow...wat could be worst...
I removed the unneccessary stuffs from my bike and put on my helmet and all of us got to go for a practice go....the first moment i entered the track i gave a thought to myself...shite...tis gonna be hell.....the main track itself was so slippery alrite...the tyres seem not to have any grip at all...upon reaching to the enduro section...i studied the slope carefully...it wasnt tat steep or tat high....but bcoz of the rain and all,the slope has become so slippery and muddy...and killer ruts developing from the riders dat has over ran it hundreds times...enduro section was smehow a nightmare for the racers.....during the race itself,many have fallen and sme have given up....even the most powerful bikes tat can conquer it all went overheated...
it started to rain a little before the race...and after the practice lap...i and fairul was cursing and regreting for not using a bigger sprocket...we were using 15/42...tat gearing is for transport use....both of us were like saying damn..wish we could have 14/45...tat could have help in every way to overcome the torment for the muddy and slippery race track...but too late for tat...sme hw,in the next moment...we were all set in the starting line....
the starting gate was awesome....it was like the real Thang....all the races i've joined so far,the starting line was crap....normally the startline would be using like a tape for all the riders to get in line...but no...tis was professional gate type starting line....it felt good....but overlooking the thick muddy ruts all over the starting line smehow sadden me and also scared all of us...there was like 22 singapore riders,7 malaysian veteran and a few open category malaysians....this gonna be madness....22bikes charging the starting front line in the mud....its like gonna be a hell of the soup.....
And so the starting fla was up......everyone was charging to the centre....jus right after the holeshot,fairul was pulling fast and overtook me from the left....he was right infront of me at the moment...and with the mud all splashing,handlebars to handlebars,fairul bike was fishtailing and he crashed right infront of me leaving me with not a second to think and smehow my bike was like wheeling over his bike and over....i tot i was gonna crashed endoing and splat!!!!but to my shocking ass,i didnt.  ..smehow my bike just wheelied over his bike and i moved on...i didnt managed to look back bcoz everyones was like going madness. 
smehow,the 1 hr enduro race was really torturing....great riders have given up the chase...bikes like crf,ktm4,wr4,these are great machines,but smehow the muddy track and i believed,the enduro section doesnt forgive anyone...to be honest...how i survived,is to ride slow and consistant,and shamingly,atthe enduro section,goin to the last 2 slope,i was putting both legs down and jus open the gas and follow thru the ruts....no point of being a hero wen the deep slippery ruts will jus slap you out of your wits man...
laps after laps,sme riders have left their bikes on the tracks,or sme manage to ride back to the paddock area...i was pushing on myslef..although riding like a pussy....bike were fishtailing even on a straight...i did fall a few times...but not so bad...but the bike fail to start immediately...wasted about 2-5mins each fall trying to start the bike...reaching the finish line was an achievement....with the flag up...i managed to get a total of 14 killing laps....fairul got 18....damn....
the results were finally out....fairullah came 1st...kudos...i got myself in the 6th position...no bad i was thinking to myself...  but my lap was tie to the 5th person...argggh...i could have got to go to the podium and grap the awesome throphy...but bcoz the dude tat got 5th,he returned the tag jus right before me...so poor thing...but nevermind...better luck nex time...
Looking over my bike,doesnt look like a bike anymore at tat present stage...all covered wit thick muds...the tyre knobs hardly visible..and now i have to rush for bikewash before fetching aida...she confirm gonna make noise as usual coz it was almost dark oready...so its always a no rest n relax day wen i go for such races...oh god help me....so much things to compromise... ..
