Hatyai August 06...

Another hatyai ride.... i planned to ride the XR....but was too tired for the day...had a long day at werk,went to ahseng to do up my sigma meter,den send aida to hospital to visit her late grandma who eventually passed away on tat day...had jamming session with the dude till 12midnite...went home and packed my stuff,had some food to eat,shower and left...
Supposed to meet Azly and gang at ayer keroh ard 2plus am...but i reached 2nd link ard 140am...so no hope....so ride all alone on the dark and quiet highway...arrived at Ayer Keroh at 320am...didnt see the guys ard...refueled and wanted to go for toilet break but no one to look after my bike...theres a few mats on their bikes outside the kiosk...so i jus proceed with the ride....arrived at Tapah and smehw met the guys..

Nusajaya Hare Scrambler race

It was a hell of a day...fun....dirt,ruts,mud,log,gravel,stones,dust,u name it.....weather was good...hot,then came a little rain..den bright again....too much to describe....its all happening....to believe it,u've got to try it....after 6mths since my last trail....and hvnt done any dirt-homewerk,it's another race....
Day started with Steven asking me to come down....its about 1015am....head to Gelang patah and did our refueling and stuff....arrived at Nusajaya track at 1145am....not much time left before race start....removed sme stuff from bike,meet up sme ol pal....managed to ride thru 1 lap before the scrutenizing....the whole trail was indeed long and very technical...tight trail,uphills,downhills....too much to tell...it was awesome...but very tough indeed...i had a little hard time during the ride thru...
I'm very sorry for my friend Steven...didnt really noe tat we will be end up in the Expert category....6laps....the Clubman got 3 laps instead....but well.....
However...i m still happy for myself for still being having the kick although have not been trailing and keeping up in dirt for quite awhile and also for gaining so much fats...overall performance for myself i felt preety good....only had one stupid simple fall due to stupid slippery overgrown roots....achievement...completed 6 laps....even though was riding with wrong gear ratio....i was running 15/42....good thing is,tyres are new nad good....so keep me uprite most of the trouble times....but the gearing was sux for uphill climb and thru corners...and steven also said dat his carb i was using the jetting is too small fer me....but well,things wen smooth rite..so stop complaining huh....
completed the race within almost 2hrs....tat tell hw long the trail was....

preparing for the upcoming sunday Nusajaya Enduro race...short time preparation...alot of werk...
Jus bought FMF bikestand...was testing it out for the very 1st time...great stuff....smethg tat is very usefull for ppl who always like to DIY their own bike...and best,its very lite and compact...was introducing it to sme of my friends...good stuff must share wat...next must remove the tank and headlite...tat will be done on sat itself...

Finally my motard set is here..

well,after 3mths of waiting...its here...but sad to say...not a true gentleman i mus say...promised was Excel black rims,but it was DID dirt start black rims...but anyway,the rear was 4.5inch...so dats impressive enuff for all the sadness....but the cock tok me into so much technical shits bout tyres,even screwed me for using normal brakepads instead of good ones ...all the crap...yah yah yah....fork oil,shock setting etc....well....although his points are really good and benefits my hearing aid....if he distribute the knowledge in a proper and nicer way,definately i would enjoy and love to wanting to knoe more...but then again...fark it all lah...maybe sme will eventually dwnload to my brain...haiz... 
anyway...
recent updates for my XR...now there are more reason why i wont be selling tis monster....too much spend on it liao...so far i nvr splurge such amount on my other bikes...tis XR have got so much special treatment from me hope he be good to me...
Latest update :
1. Install EBC oversize front disc
2. FCR2 fitted-now still idling problems maybe due to air leak or jetting...yet to solve..
3. SM DID dirt star black rims front 3.5,rear 4.5....
4. I'M BROKE!!!

16th July ride
|

Meetup at 11am at Shell JB...but was 15mins late due to rain..let me try to recall hw many bikes there is....TDM900(me),TDM900(nukye),DR650(Demon),Vara1k(ATwin),ST11(nukye's frd),AT(Jenggo),AT(Phillip )V-Strom(Ibbster)....and our support vehicle,Driven by Mr Azli with crew(wife And Tarzan666)
the 1st 40km was a little tight due to traffic...rain starts to pour on and off...
Along the way,Atwin Vara got sme technical problems...fuel pump kapuuuttt.....luckily our Mr Azli got spare fuel pum...our support vehicle is indeed very well needed at tis point of time coz the other 2 AT riders didnt hv spare fuel pump...  ...Jenggo aid breaking down Vara as well while the rest of us headed for sme lite snacks ahead...
The Kota tinggi ride was smooth...not so much traffic..
We arrived at Air Papan ard 2pm i thk...didnt really look at the time...everyone was hungry as hell....and the wait for the food was deadly....Azly wanted to faint but the smell of Jenggo keeps him awake... 
bout 30mins,food was served...but it is worth the wait...rice with daging merah,tomyam,deep fried calamari and all tat really makes u wanna eat it all....we had so much to eat tat we almost forgotten bout the beach....it was almost 5pm oready....so we have to give the beach a miss....
We stop over at the shop along the road for Keropok Lekoh..
I lead them home by a different route from where we came....we headed back by Kahang....the bends and up down straight road was awesome...traffic was almost zero...was cornering and almost lost my senses tat i was pillioning my fiance...hehehe...
we arrived at Bandar Tenggara area and decided to hv a drink at the petrol kiosk...it was almost 7pm....jus wen we move off from the petrol station,Nukye's tyre went flat...we stop at the bus stop and tried to repair it...but unforutnately,we discovered there's no nail or anythg...but worst still,found out tat on his left side of his rim was dented and jus above the dent,on the tyre itself has a small opening tat leads the air out...we return back to the petrol station...try all sorts of method to meant the tyres...but lady luck was not on our side....phillip and ATwin scout for bike shops....we end up at one of the bikeshop around dat area...still can't meant the tyre....and suddenly our Mr Ian aka Demon,after demonstrating his Shadow kick,got a brilliant idea...he got spare tubes for his DR....the idea was to insert the tube inside the tyre....and it werks....so now the bike uses tube for the rear tyre...so now we all the tubeless riders will brg spare tubes went we go riding... 
All set and tired but relieved smehow and headed for gelang patah...
Arrived ard 2330hrs...refuelled and handshakes were exchanged...new friends were found and new ideas and experience gained...
