28th Jan-31st CNY ride
|

Nite 1
It was'nt really a plan trip...gf was nagging coz i've promised her to take her out to smewhre tis CNY holiday...tot of joining the Bandar Tenggara race...was so badly missed the dirt...really bad...still hurt though thinkin bout not joining...but well,a man's got to do,wat a man's got to do... 
So,here we are,jus 1 hr of packing and getting ourselves ready...all the clothes,tools,etc dump in the box...headed for the ATM at Jln Besar den to Mustaffa ctr for money changer...It was ard 2000hrs by den...i was expecting we reached KL ard 0100hrs...coz last time we made to KL wit TDM wit the R1's was 3hrs to reach...
As we reached 2nd link,i refueled while Aida called n booked the hotel...adjust the baseplate backwards so to hv more confortable sitting position...coz my family jewels kinda hurt on the way to 2ndlink..
All set,ready to roll...time check : 2040hrs..the baja twinlamps doin pretty ok with the white bulbs make it bright enuff...the mistake....i was using dark visor....but still ok...i was like 3/4 trottle all the way overtaking many cars n lorries n buses not realising tat i was at the extreme right lane most of the time...and oso not realising tat i was riding an XR...damn...i underestimate my XR...it really does pretty well for a single bore 400cc dirtbike...i believed wat makes the ride good and fast was bcoz of the SM wheels and my Twin exhaust...it givs more top end and less vibration...didn't really get to noe hw fast was the ride coz my meter was not werkin...
We reached Pagoh ard 2215hrs....which is about 130km frm 2nd link...toilet break and did top up sme fuel...continued riding consistantly fast...my gf doesnt makes a sound so tat means it was ok...only tat we had 1 stop in the middle of the dark NSH due to her hair is tickling her nose.. 
Focus on the dark highway...alot of traffic though....have to do alot of overtakings.....but it was kewl..
Finally,reached KL toll after 330km of riding...time check : 2355hrs??omg...a record fer me...3hrs and 15mins?i hardly believed it myself...with XR4?wit gf?wit box wit full of stuff?but it is for real...so happy tat i almost kiss my bike...
Head for Selesa Inn hotel..check in ard 0010hrs....unpacked...have shower....and get ready for Planet Hollywood...  Returned back to hotel ard 0400hrs...
Day 1
woke up ard 1030hrs...had a bad asthma..due to the stupid air-con...and also it leaks.....requested for a change of room....approved...my asthma got pretty bad...damn...i forgot to brg my inhalent...mati liao...
Went for breakfast and headed for KLCC...
Returned to hotel ard 1500hrs...took a nap...woke up ard 1830hrs...ard 2000hrs,we were at Times Square...huge shopping complex...very latest..my 1st time there....was i shocked...they have rollEr coaster inside the shopping complex@@!!!.... 
We had dinner at Chicken Rice shop and den headed to HRC..was der till ard 2am till my asthma came..so returned back to hotel and took some panadol..Slept soundly till the water leaking frm the air-con again woke me up..
Day 2
Woke up to the sound of dripping water from the aircon to the carpet..switched on the TV and feeling very tired..showered and all,packed all the stuff and went for breakfast..we had brianis..
At 1200hrs...we checked out...at exactly 1230hrs we departed from KL...on the highway again....but only about 30km,the highway was jammed....ride on the shoulder lane...still sme cars driving on the shoulder as well..very slow ride for bout 35km...
We reached Ayer Keroh ard 1415hrs...refueled and finally decided to head for Mersing instead of home...rode till ard 200++km,we reached Ayer Hitam Toll...All the way for another 125km of twisting bends road....
Reached Mersing ard 1630hrs...checked in at Mersing Inn...unpacked...and ard 1800hrs,we ride to Air Papan...about 20km frm Mersing..relaxed for awhile at the beach and had dinner there...returned to hotel after dinner...
Day 3
woke up ard 10am....start packing stuff and went for breakfast...check-out at 12pm...and ride to the beach at Kali's Guest hs...till ard 1230hrs den we made our way back..
we returned by Kota Tinggi trunk rd...stop at ulu tiram gas station to wash bike....den headed for 2nd link thru Taman Perling....reached Gelang Patah ard 1600hrs..buy sme stuff...upon reachin the 2ndlink bridge,jammed all the way...managed to squeezed my way thru the jam....luckily i was on XR...if not...
Finally reached home ard 1640hrs...
Home sweet home...

finally get to install motard st...and also the BAJA twin headlamps..but doesnt suit the motard....so i guess it has to go....but it willl look great with off-road set of wheels though....

Awesome new yr celebration for me...Firewerks at KLCC,street party along bukit bintang,and best of all,accidently we watched Peter Pan LIVE in Stadium merdeka KL....woooohooo....a wonderfull n wet experience....

Yezzzzzz!!!!!!!!!!!!!!i've finally did it again...with the help of the friendly malaysian mechanics...unlike singapore....only money toks....i've search all over singapore for smeone to help me in this project...no one wanna do...even if they wanna do the Y-piece,its more than 300bux....madness...
very so excited wit the outcome...yeahh.....
